CLHO Caucuses

The Conference of Local Health Officials has three caucuses that each have a seat on the Conference Board of Directors. Caucus representatives also sit on each of the Conference Committees. The caucuses serve to represent the diverse public health workforce in Oregon.

CLHO previously had the Association of Oregon Public Health Nursing Supervisors (AOPHNS) caucus. This caucus stopped meeting in 2019 due to capacity and was officially dissolved in July 2023. Per the CLHO Bylaws, the CLHO Chairperson may designate a new caucus to address sub-specialty fields within local public health when necessary. If you have a proposal for a new caucus that would provide a unique viewpoint to the Conference, please contact the CLHO Chair.
